Make sure your child meets the program requirements. Select your activity and submit your documents.
An award packet with several tokens of appreciation is sent to your child’s home, and will include a check made out to the chosen organization. Your child will also receive a letter letting them know how grateful we are for their sacrifice.
The child participates in the grant activity and has fun doing something they love. Each child also receives a “Thank You” postcard to send to the donor who paid for their grant. This is a great opportunity for the kids to reach out and show their gratitude to the people who support our program.

In honor of the Month of the Military Child, Our Military Kids is celebrating our 6th Annual Courageous Kids Contest winners! Selected from more than 550 nominations, these resilient military kids represent each branch of military service across 15 different states, sharing the accomplishments, dreams, support, and stark reality of life as a military child. They are leaders and role models through their parents' deployments and combat-injury care, rising up with courage and strength, even when it's hard. This year's Courageous Kids Contest winners include Hidden Helpers, advocates, athletes, musicians, thespians, pilots, a firefighter, a nonprofit founder, a business owner — and more! Follow along as we share their stories.
