Throughout April 2021, the Month of the Military Child, Our Military Kids will honor children and teens, ages 3-18, who are nominated by a community member for their resilience, strength, and courage while having a parent who, in 2020:
1) deployed overseas with the National Guard or Reserve,
2) was activated stateside on COVID-19 or Southwest Border Missions, OR
3) underwent treatment for severe combat-related injuries.
OMK will share stories, photos, and videos that the nominator provides on social media, our website, and in our e-newsletter. There will be 12 winners representing every branch of service who will each receive a $100 Amazon gift card! You may nominate as many military children or teens as you would like.
WINNERS:
- Will receive a $100 Amazon gift card.
- Will be representatives of all branches of service:
- Seven children or teens with a parent deployed or activated stateside with the National Guard or Reserve (USAR, USNR, USAFR, USMCR, USCGR, ARNG, ANG).
- Five children or teens with a parent who is a Veteran or actively serving (USA, USN, USMC, USAF, USCG) and is undergoing treatment for severe injuries.
