How the Program Works
The Our Military Kids Grant Program provides grant money for school-aged children (K thru 12) of deployed and severely injured Reserve and National Guard to participate in youth sports, fine arts and tutor programs.
Grant recipients are able to choose from different youth organization, community center, county recreation department and commercially provided sports activities, instruction, and equipment rental programs. The intent of the program is to provide opportunities for children to participate in worthwhile activities.
Who Can Apply
The program is available to all school-aged children, K thru 12, of deployed and severely injured National Guard and Reserve military. The service member's deployment must be overseas.
