September 11 Anniversary Contest
-Our Military Kids sponsored an essay and video contest to commemorate the ten year anniversary of September 11, 2001, and honor the sacrifices made by National Guard, Reserve, and Wounded Warrior families in the wake of the tragedy. We invited families to share how that historic day impacted their lives, and how Our Military Kids eased the stress of parental deployments and injuries for our littlest warriors. The response was overwhelming and highlighted the tremendous amount of pride felt by our troops and gratitude for a program that recognizes the service of their children.
